Hello Friends,Here today on Itbuzzweb, Pradeep Kumar founder of Slashsquare is with us to share his experiences with our readers.Recently in the previous Interview of Suresh Kumar,We all are seen he is working very hard for his blog so here is another interview of great blogger and top blogger in India
So, here is the copy of our conversation with Pradeep Kumar
1. Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?
Hi. Thanks Deepak for featuring me in this interview, happy to connect with your readers and share my views. My name is Pradeep Kumar, I'm the CEO & Founder of Slashsquare, it's an Indian Blog Network and Web Consulting Media. I'm an Internet Marketer + Professional Blogger, apart from that, I'm a fun-loving guy, I experiment a lot every day. HellBound Bloggers (HBB) is my first official blog; it's a hub for updates related to Social Media, Blogging, SEO, Internet Marketing, etc.
2. Describe how did you first get into blogging?
I started my first blog during my school days. It started out of sheer curiosity, I didn't really want to start a blog, but I wanted to own a blog. There is a huge difference right, I was not interested in Blogging at that time, but later when I started to update my blog and share with others, their feedback & criticism helped me a lot to overcome everything. I started my first blog on Blogger.com.
3. Would you encourage other people to make their blog?
It's definitely a complicated question. I wouldn't force anyone to start a blog, but I would suggest them to start their personal blog, with their name as domain name. It's like a beautiful public diary. It's a gift for their children as well.
4. How would you describe your blogging style?
It's very minimalistic yet exposing. :D
6. What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?
You should become the brand ambassador for your blog. You should be the public face of your blog. If you can achieve this, then you can easily network with other bloggers and pro bloggers in your field. You can network like this, interact with like-minded people and build your audience base. If you can create a community around your blog, then you don't need to worry about traffic generation.
7. What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his readers?
Instead of 'service', I would like to replace that word with 'solution'. Providing 'Solutions' to your readers will be the best service. Take DeviceBAR for example; I want it to be a hub of solutions for all the gadget & electronic related queries. If someone searches my blog for finding how to fix his/her MacBook's battery issue, then I want him/her to find the answer there. I'm preparing the content strategy like that.
8. What would be your ideal working environment?
Anywhere peaceful with good internet connection and my MacBook Pro will be fine.
9. How do you manage time to run your blog efficiently?
The trick is to love your work, make it a huge part of your life. If we can find time for entertainment, food, hangouts, sleep, etc., then we can definitely find time for blogging as well. Even though I'm sacrificing a lot in my life to blog properly, I don't miss the important parts in my life. I give proper priority to them as well; life is too short to be unhappy and miss valuable things.
10. What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?
See, there are two things we badly need to rely on for getting good traffic: 1) SEO 2) Social Media
For SEO, you need to understand how Google (or any other search engine) works and how to master that. It's all about good quality content + backlinks, if you can achieve that, then your journey will be smooth, and you can get a good amount of traffic.
For Social Media, you need to understand how online life works. Learn how people use Facebook & Twitter, find your target audience, and give your content to them. Build your following slowly but steadily.
11. How do you want to improve yourself in the next year?
I don't really keep goals regularly, but I have two main things: 1) Learn Hindi properly. 2) Publish my 1st novel or eBook.
12. What was your greatest failure and what did you learn from that?
I never really see them as failures. I failed myself as a student in Engineering, but later I became a student in Blogging, and now, I'm a decent teacher in Blogging. :')
13. Tell me about your proudest achievement?
Proudestt.. I'm living an independent & free life. I have a career I created.
14. What is your greatest achievement outside of blogging?
I completed my Engineering degree course in 5 years! :')
15. How do you think I rate your blog as an interviewer?
Thanks once again Deepak for this interesting interview, loved answering them, and yes, you are a good interviewer, looking forward to reading other interviews in your blog. :)
Thanks
I hope you like this interview keep visiting for latest updates
